Playing Hooky Today Fishing Miami Style…Lets Go Diving.

It’s Summer time and that means it is time to take a day off for mental health. The best way is to spend a little time under water. A visit to some of south Florida’s amazing coral reefs. The cool water and silent surroundings aglow with thousands of glimmering fish darting all about. Large schools of small snappers, and the occasional grouper lurking about. The challenge of coaxing a lobster or two out of the rocks. It’s the mix of sightseeing and hunting.

After Diving for Some Lobsters It's Time to Catch Some Vermillion Snapper

After a pair of relaxing dives it time for a few drops. Nothing goes better served with Lobster than some fresh Snapper. A few quick drops on a wreck or two adds a limit of Vermillion Snapper to the cooler. As the afternoon breeze starts to “kick up” its time to head back. A quick ride through the three foot seas, we slice through the inlet. Back to the dock and time to clean up. Fillet a few fish and splitting Lobster tails as the sun begins to set. Yes it’s a “busman’s” holiday, no better way to spend a day off…
